Two Be Four
This design comes from a carved yellow cedar panel that was originally commissioned by a family of four, hence the title of this piece. The eagle helper depicted, is a feminine spirit, indicated by the labret positioned under her beak.
The two U-shapes on either side act as pillars and represent the Mother and the Father. Two feathers coming from the head of the eagle represent the two children. The Eagle Spirit is the guide that watches over the family.
